Fred Chuse, 63, died at his residence, 127 Delaware Ave., Saturday.
He was born in Bloomington, July 9, 1871, son of Marion X. and Sarah Shannon Chuse. He had resided in Peoria after his parents brought him here at the age of 17 years.
Mr. Chuse was associated with his father in the hardware and saddlery business for many years. His father was a partner in the firm of Blair, Chuse & Co., wholesale leather firm, and at one time owned it outright.
Recently Mr. Chuse was employed by the Commercial Realty Co.
He married May Blake, June 22, 1903. She survives with three children, Robert, Helen and Ferd. A sister, Mrs. Guy C. Goodfellow, also survives. His brother, the late M. X. Chuse was a widely known Peorian.
