Born Dec. 8, 1908, in Peoria to Fred and May Blake Chuse, he married Corabelle Miller on Oct. 6, 1951, in Champaign. She survives.
Also surviving is one sister, Helen Brooking of Harrisonburg, Va. One brother preceded him in death.
He was senior vice president of the former Commercial National Bank and was in charge of operations there for 44 years, retiring in 1973.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
