MRS. EDNA BANKS
NUNDA — Mrs. Edna Babcock Banks, 68, died Sunday (Jan. 26, 1964) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Losey, Nunda-Mt. Morris Road.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Flora Blackmer, Dansville; four other daughters, Mrs. Harry (Esther) Gale, Mt. Morris, Mrs. Mildred Wentworth, Rochester, Mrs. Joseph (Frances) Bucci, Retsof, and Mrs. Francis (Helen) Van Valkenburg, Galeton, Pa.; four sons, John and Richard Babcock, Hope, R.I., Robert Babcock, Retsof, and Raymond Blackmer, Batavia; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Tolland, Piffard, 28 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, an uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Fiends may call at the Duryea Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Haws, officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Friends who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society.

Also surviving are four other daughters, Mrs. Harry (Esther) Gale of Mt. Morris, Mrs. Mildred Wentworth of Rochester, Mrs. Joseph (Frances) Bucci of Retsof and Mrs. Francis Helen VanValkengurg of Galeton, Pa.; four sons, John and Richard Babcock of Hope, R.I., Robert Babcock of Retsof and Raymond Blackmer of Batavia; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Toland of Piffard; 28 grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. tomorrow in the Duryea Funeral Home, Nunda, by the Rev. Charles Haws. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
