BUENA VISTA - Mrs. Nelle Ardella Ogden, age 66, of 2317 Spruce Ave., died Tuesday morning in the University of Virginia Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel R. Ogden; two sons, Charles Chittum, Natural Bridge Station; Wayne Chittum, Alexandria; three sisters, Ruby Stinnett, Frances Williams, both of Buena Vista; Evelyn Southers, Chester; three brothers, Mack Chittum, Virginia Beach; Everett Chittum, Alexandria, Chester Chittum, Raphine; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis E. Broetake and the Rev. Homer T. Cornish officiating. Interment will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Lomax Funeral Home.
