Flora Belle Fikes Mitcham, 93, of Hillsboro, died Friday, October 16, 2015, in a Hillsboro nursing facility. Funeral services will be at 11:30, Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with burial to follow in Rogers City Cemetery in Rogers. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Flora Belle, a retired beauty operator and instructor, was born in Athens, Texas, to the late Ulrick Dewey and Ethel Mae Edmonds Fikes.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Narae Mitcham.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse William Mitcham, of Hillsboro; sons: Jerry Wayne Mitcham, of Hailey, Idaho, Roy Louis Mitcham, of Hillsboro, and Jesse William Mitcham, Jr., of Hubbard; daughter, Reba Ann Mitcham, of Hubbard; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
