Juanita Olinger Hitt, 75, of Warrenton, died April 13, 2006 at her home. She was born May 25, 1930, in Fauquier County to the late Luther Olinger and Katherine Wilson Olinger. She was preceded in death by her son, Luther Lyndall "Bobby" Hitt. Mrs. Hitt worked as a floral designer at the former Eicher's Flowers in Warrenton for many years. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James L. Hitt; a daughter, Rhonda H. Jeffries of Warrenton; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Luther Evan Olinger of Warrenton and Franklin Delano Olinger of Marshall, and one sister, Catherine R. Ford of Falls Church. Her funeral service was held April 18 at Warrenton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with interment at Orlean Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Rapidan, PO Box 1715, Culpeper VA 22701.
