Warren A. "Bob" Burt, age 77, of Austin, passed away on January 24, 1999.

Bob was born on October 29, 1921, in Canton, Georgia. After his move to Texas, he met, fell in love with, and married Frankie, the love of his life. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on December 27, 1998. Bob was always and will continue to be Frankie's guardian angel.

Bob was a Mason for over 50 years with the Ben Hur Shrine. At the time of his death, Bob was employed by the Texas House of Representatives.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie, of Austin; son, Hank Hampton and wife, Nancy; granddaughters, Lisa Dove and husband Scott, Lesli Dove and husband Tracy; grandson, Scott Hampton; great- granddaughter, Shelby Dove; and great- grandson, Trey Dove, all of Round Rock. He is also survived by Robert and Kenneth Frost and Linda Groetz.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Stephens, Frank Wilson, Ron Snipes, Don Dawson, Bill Buford and Rod Welsh.

A Visitation with the family will be held Monday, January 25, 1999, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 1999, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, with Reverend Ken Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Austin Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
