Julian Vanek
NIXON -Julian E. Vanek, 42, died of cancer Monday in a Clarkston, Wash., hospital.
He was born in 1929 at Lewistown and moved to the Heron area in 1933. He was a veteran of the Korean War and had been employed by the Forest Service since 1956.
He is survived by his wife, May, and three stepdaughters, Kathy, Sandy, and Vicki, all of the family home in Clarkston; his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Frank Vanek of Noxon; three brothers, Jerry, Julian's twin, of Paris, Calif., Loren of Miscow, Idaho, and Arthur of Noxon; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Housholder of New Boston, Mich., and Mrs. Marjorie Gonbek of Spokane, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are pending in Clarkston.
