Funeral services for Lyndell Cockerham, 75, of Trout will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 6, 2-11 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers in Jena, with Revs. Randy Ray, Johnnie Phillips and Jimmy Keene officiating. Interment will follow in the Belah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cockerham was born November 19, 1935 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and passed from this life on February 3, 2011 at her residence in Trout. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in the Belah community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred William and Anna Newman Cockrum; husband, Ronnie Cockerham and brother, Alfred Leon Cockrum.
She is survived by two sons, Bennie Cockerham and wife Lennie, and Doug Cockerham and wife June, all of Trout; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; two special friends, Terry Knapp and Theresa Hines.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Ray Humphries, DeWayne Cockerham, Jeffery Ford, Sherman Lee Cockerham, Terry Knapp and Mickey Cockerham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hines, Johnny Williams, Justin D. Cockerham, Justin Traylor and Deacons of Fellowship Baptist Church.
