Unverified that he was buried in the family cemetery, but if he was, his grave may have been moved to St. Paul's churchyard with others that were located here.

He was was about eight years older than the Peter Angevine who died at Sacket's Harbor in 1814 during the War of 1812 (Find A Grave Memorial# 141100248): Peter Angevine, age 33, enlisted in New York 18 Feb 1814 as a private in the U.S. Army (?13th N.Y. Infantry?), in Capt. J.L. Fink's co. He enlisted for the duration of the War, was listed as a N.Y. native, brown eyes, black hair, light complexion, 5.9 and a half inches tall, laborer. He died Nov. 25, 1814 at Sacket's Harbor.

Not to be confused with (Find A Grave Memorial# 20254856) Capt. Peter Angevine (1779-1852) who married Esther Purdy and also was a soldier in the War of 1812. This Peter Angevine (son of Joseph, son of Peter Jr.) was a second cousin of Peter Angevine (c1772-c1818) who married Abigail Purdy on 28 Dec 1794 and who was a son of John and Phebe Fowler Angevine and grandson of Lewis Angevine (brother of Peter Jr.).
The latter Peter Angevine was only about 8 years older than the soldier who died in 1814, generally about the same time, or circa 1818 by Clyde Angevine's estimation.

Angevine Genealogy by Clyde V. Angevine, p.58 shows there were two Peter Angevines in New York City at the same time, no doubt cousins:
1790 census - it appears that Peter resided with his parents in Scarsdale twp

Clyde Angevine estimated that Peter Angevine died circa 1818 because censuses show four younger children born 1810-20, none later identified, and he theorized they were born about two years apart. They could well have been born 1810,1811,1812,and 1813, if not twins or triplets.
