Funeral services for Mrs. W.C. Lancaster, 95, of Greenville will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Bob Warford and Mr. M.T. Barker officiating.

She died early Saturday morning at Medical Plaza in Sherman.

She was born on January 21, 1895, in the Salem Community of Hunt County to Rufus F. and Sarah Jane Barker. She married Claud Lancaster in 1917 in Hunt County. She was a retired saleslady of ladies clothing.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she was active in the Women's Society of Christian Service, a member of the choir for many years, and also taught in the junior department.

Survivors include her daughter, Claudine Montgomery of Whitewright, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers , and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Mabry Barker, Johnnie Barker, Sam Montgomery, Bill Montgomery, Dan Hennig, and Michael Barker.
