Mrs. Gertrude Bridegroom, 72, died at her home on North Riverside Drive in Winamac at 5 o'clock this (Thursday) morning. She had been ill several months. Born in Kansas July 6, 1878, she had lived in Winamac for 55 years, moving here from Marion. She was married to her husband, Sherman Bridegroom, January 5, 1901. Mrs. Bridegroom was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include the husband and a sister, Mrs. James Kosa of Argos. Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Kennedy funeral home, with Rev. O. P. Manker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion cemetery in Franklin township.
