Formerly, she was a den mother of Scout Troop No. 14 at Highland Avenue United Methodist Church and a member of the Mon Power Company Girls Club.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul E. Adams Sr.; two sons and their spouses, Paul E. Adams Jr. and his wife Patricia of Pleasant Valley, Jeffrey L. Adams and his wife Mary K. of Fairmont; one brother, Charles L. Able of Bradenton, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by four sisters, Hilda Gwynn, Sylvia Collins, Eleanor Fowler and Eloise Straight.
Friends may call the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, today from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Karen Brown officiating. Entombment will follow the funeral services at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
