Charlie was the son of Carl Buckhold and Sophia Timm. He was a farmer most of his life and also worked at the Plow Works in South Bend. Charlie was an accomplished musician and played at dances. He never married.

Charles Buckhold, 51, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at his home in German Township.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the G. O. Gaff Mortuary. Burial will be in the County cemetery.
Mr. Buckhold is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emma Davis and one brother, John Buckhold both of Marcellus, Mich.
The body may be viewed at the mortuary until the hour of the service.
