Funeral services for Juanita Davis McDaniel, age 84, of Lake Providence, Louisiana will be 2PM, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Louisiana with Rev. Terry Jordan and Joe McDaniel officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1PM - 9PM and Sunday from 8AM until time of service at Cox Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Segrest McDaniel; parents, Roland Daniel Davis and Florence Elizabeth Johnson Davis; four sons, Jimmy McDaniel, Paul David McDaniel, Don McDaniel, and Michael McDaniel; six brothers, Paul Davis, Alfonse "Big Boy" Davis, Alford Davis, Albert "Pee-Wee" Davis, Dickie Davis, and R. D. Davis; son-in-law, Calvin Lester Gaines.
Juanita is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Marcia McDaniel of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Betty McDaniel of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Elizabeth Gaines of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Roy Jones Jr. of Bastrop, Louisiana; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Louise Thomas of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan McDaniel, Ricky McDaniel Jr., Joe McDaniel, Joshua Chavers, Matthew McDaniel, David McDaniel.
