Sherman B. Watson, 79, of Lakeland, Fla. Died Saturday, July 14, 2001, in Florida.
The funeral will be held on Thursday in Lakeland, Fla.
Mr. Watson was born May 6, 1922, in Jefferson County, the son of Elmer Ray and Rhuie Evelyn Litton Watson. He married Betty Scarff on Oct. 26, 1947 in Lockridge. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Buttermore of Apopka, Fla., Linda Byak of Lakeland, Fla.; two brothers, Edmond Watson of Fairfield and Dale Watson of Lockridge; four grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Welday Watson.
