Arlene C. Wayment, 84, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 and was reunited with her loving husband.
She was born November 13, 1930 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Earl and Ila Croft. She grew up in Brigham City and attended Ogden High School.
On January 5, 1965, Arlene married Franklin D. Wayment and their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple.
They made their home in Taylor, Utah and raised five children. They also raised one grandchild and adopted two great-grandchildren. They were married 44 years when Franklin passed away in 2009.
Arlene was a hard worker and enjoyed her government job at DDO Mash Unit where she later retired.
She had a fun and spunky personality that kept everyone laughing with a dash of spitfire that kept you shaking your head. She enjoyed ceramics, shopping and the Christmas season was her favorite time of the year.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 19th at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Height’s Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
