Miss Erna Johnson, 17, daughter of Editor and Mrs. Ed M. Johnson, of the Phenix-Girard Journal, died yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock at the residence of her parents, 6062 First Street, Girard.
Miss Johnson was a member of the Baptist church and well known throughout Alabama where he father had been identified with several newspapers.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence by the Rev. J. J. Justice. Interment will be made in Girard cemetery.
Besides her parents, she is survived by four brothers, Robert, Joe, Melvin and Henry and two sisters, Louise and Carol Johnson, all of Girard.
