He resided in Warwick for 55 years in the home he designed and built for his family before moving to The Seasons in East Greenwich. He was an architect and partner in the firm of Henry W. Markoff and Assoc. During WWII, he was a draftsman with the Army Corp of Engineers in Boston. He was a Fourth Degree member of the K of C, Hope Council.
Anthony was an avid lover of music and a talented violin player and vocalist. During the 40's, he performed in local venues with various bands, using the stage name "Bobby Balasco". Until very recently, he enjoyed entertaining his friends at The Seasons with his piano playing, singing and story telling.
Survived by his daughters, Denise Coppa and her husband, Michael Coppa, of NK and Ellen Balasco and her husband, Thomas Bartkiewicz of Saunderstown.
