Ida Belle Arnold Edwards is buried beside her husband Kirk.Ida was born on Rock Creek, Howard Co. two miles east of Long View community. She was a daughter of Franklin Smith and Julia Ellen Holcombe Arnold. She was eight years old when her father died from Typoid Fever. At the time of his death her mother was blind, her oldest sister(Mary) was fighting Typhoid Fever, she had a baby sister (Annie Ozelle) three months old. She had a younger brother (Walton) and three other sisters at home (Bertha, Pearl and Lelia)Her brother and her sisters except Mary and Bertha are buried near her. Ida started school at Longview. Bluff springs opened in 1912 and she finished school there. In 1927 she met John K. Edwards a widower with three daughters and one son, ages 3 to 9 years.They married in 1928 and they had five children.
