"Funeral services were held yesterday at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles Livingston officiating, for Mrs. Jennie Amsberry, 67, who died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Amsberry was born March 31, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Myers, at Plymouth, Indiana. The family moved to Mason City in 1885 where Jennie Myers married Wm. Amsberry in 1897. The couple moved to Alliance in 1925. Mr. Amsberry died in 1940.
Surviving Mrs. Amsberry are her son, Lloyd C., two daughters, Mrs. M.C. Brenaman and Mrs. Kenneth Banks, two brothers, Harvey and Irvin Myers, and four grandchildren, all of Alliance, and her sister, Mrs. W.S. Curtis of Ansley, Nebraska.
Landa Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Burial was at the Alliance Cemetery."
