Shirley was a member of the Plainfield Elks Lodge #2186 and Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207. She is survived by her son; Michael T. Carder. Grandchildren; Heather, Jason and Nathaniel. She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 1 brother.
