Parents: Earl & Bessie Hewitt Stockdale∼Ruby J. Davis, age 79, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away in Indianapolis on Saturday, August 25, 2012. She was born in Carroll County, KY to the late Earl and Bessie Hewitt Stockdale on December 8, 1932. Ruby was married to Ronald L. Davis on April 16, 1955 in Madison, Indiana; she was a loving mother and wife. Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Davis; son, Roger B. Davis of Indianapolis; brother, Edwin Stockdale (Betty); sister, LaVerne Evans; grandchildren, Holly Smith, Kelly Bailey and Casey Davis; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two of her children, Ronald L. Davis, Jr., and Rhonda Davis; brothers, Earl Stockdale and Herbert Stockdale; and sisters, Juanita Hawkins, Earline Shields, Julie Jackson and Wanda Pyles. Cremation took place and no services were planned according to her wishes.
