He was the son of A. J. Jr. and Laura M. (Tucker) McCullar. He had lived all of his life in this area and was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church in Hartshorne. He died at his home at the age of 42. He was preceded in death by his father, A.J. McCullar Jr.; his grandparents, Buster and Myrtle Tucker and Jack and Faye McCullar, and numerous uncles and aunts and a special friend, Margaret Hill. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Edgewood United Methodist Church in Hartshorne with the Rev. Paul R. Hamilton officiating. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
