Donald Gene Allen was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 84. The son of George W. and Minnie E. (Pitts) Allen, Don was born January 16, 1930 just south of Ringling, Oklahoma. After attending Union Hill High School, Don served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on August 22, 1951. He owned and operated several different businesses during his 59 years in Oklahoma City, and after 17 years of management, later retired from E.L. Farmers Trucking Company. He was a hardworking and loving man who will be deeply missed. Don was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived Wilma Dean Allen; a daughter, Deanna Bingham; son, Michael Allen and wife Jeanise, Mark Allen and wife Toni; Grandchildren, Eugenia, Patrick, Nikki, Leann, Lisa and Mike; great-grandchildren, Addison, Rylea, Caesyn, Maci, Nevaeh and Brody; his dearest friend, Mary Curtis; sister, Virginia Russell, and a host of other family and friends.
