Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Constantino and Lucia (Visione) Giardello.
Mr. Giardello owned the former Rickey's Restaurant, Warwick, for 20 years before retiring in 1981. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Miss Geraldine and Miss Lucille Giardello, both of Providence; a son, Joseph Giardello of Cranston; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Hilton of Providence, Mrs. Catherine De Stefano of North Providence and Mrs. Phyllis D'Agostino in California; a brother, Albert Giardello of Providence, and two grandsons.
A military funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 0at St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
