William Stone Abert (Princeton 1865)(Cincinnati Law 1868), was the son of Lt. Colonel James William (1820-97)(Princeton 1838)(West Point 1842) and Jane Lenthall Stone Abert (1827-49), of Washington, D.C. He was a noted attorney in Washington and complier of the Laws of the District of Columbia. He married in 1875, Nancy Sue Hamilton (1855-1933), of Louisville, Ky.
