Mary Elizabeth Garrett, 95, passed away December 5,2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Garrett and two daughters, Mary Dana Strickland and Charlene Dillard. Survivors include her children, Carolyn Gedig, Melvin Garrett, David Garrett, And Jackie Hackerd, 18 grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren & great-great-greatgrandchildren. Mary and her husband Charles were owners of Garrett Motor Company and members of Lake Forest Baptist Church both in Jacksonville, Florida. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel. There will also be a visitation on Thursday from 1-2PM at the Hardage Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL with a graveside service to follow immediately at the Evergreen Cemetery. -
