On July 31, 1942, she married Andy Lewis Clement, building seventy-two years of family and memories before his death on November 14, 2014. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, Charles Williams, Cora Lee Crow, Mildred Humphrey, Evelyn Gregor and E. L. Williams.
During her career she worked in Central Supply at L. P. McCuistion Regional Medical Center and a short time as a nurse’s aide at the hospital. Mrs. Clement was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include twin children, Betty Winters and husband Bobby of Clardy and Andy Clement and wife Hiromi of Arcadia, California, grandchildren, Kim Carlow and husband Clayton of Clardy, Kip Winters, Wes Winters and Doug Winters, great grandchildren, Kolbie Carlow, Morgan Winters, Mitch Winters, Morita Winters, Gracie Winters, Brodie Winters, Colton Winters and Tiffany Winters, a brother, Gene Williams and wife Ermagene of Greenville, a sister, Faye Mackin and husband Alfred of Novice along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 8 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Jody VanDeaver and Dr. L. C. Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
