Mrs. Cora Lee Crow, age 88 of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home. Cora Lee was born on June 22, 1925 in Lamar County to the late Elzie L. Williams, Sr., and Betty Roddy Williams. She was a retired beautician and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Winnsboro. She volunteered for 10 years at the Presbyterian Hospital, she helped care for the Winnsboro Veterans Memorial Park, Was Winnsboro's Woman of the Year in 1999, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the X POW of WWII group. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adrian Crow; a son, Steve Crow; two brothers, Charles Williams and E.L. Williams, Jr.; two sisters, Mildred Humphrey, and Evelyn Grager. She is survived by a son, David Taylor of Paris; a daughter, Sharen Doyle of Winnsboro; a brother, Thomas Eugene Williams of Greenville; sisters, Louise Clements of Paris, Faye Mackin of Paris; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Services are under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home, 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, TX. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home, the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time; interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: St. Judes Children's Hospital.
