Katherine “Katie” Tietjen, 74, of Rogers died Friday, November 13, 2009 at a local health care facility.

She was born September 24, 1935 to Cary Anderson and Bessie Gibson Anderson. Katherine loved her family and enjoyed the many times when they would gather together and she could cook wonderful meals with them. She was “Nannie” to all who knew her. She was a wonderful Christian; each time the children left, she always reminded them to “Go with
God.”

She was preceded in death by her husband Eldro Theodore Jackson Holt; two brothers and three sisters.

Katherine is survived by one son, Eldro Jessie Holt of Rogers; five daughters; Brenda Schrik and husband Chuck of Rogers, Cody Marie Schneck and husband Don of Rogers, Mary Jenny McGarrah and husband Rodney of Garfield, Yvonne Slubowski and husband Roger of Rogers, Susan Holt of Rogers; one sister, Alice Presser of Springdale; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Stillwell Cemetery east of Clarksville, Arkansas.
