Edna Louise Soles, age 92, a lifetime resident of Bisbee, Ariz., died peacefully at home on November 30, 2014.
She was born on December 26, 1921, in Bisbee to Thomas and Frieda Rogers.
Edna graduated from Bisbee High School and the University of Arizona. She taught school in Naco, Ariz., and Bisbee before retiring.
Edna had been an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Bisbee and retired as the organist after 70 years.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Orrin Clinton Soles in 2001; and eldest son, Samuel Owen Soles in 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Townsend of Tempe, Ariz.; sons, Steve (Diane) Soles of Bisbee and Spencer (Polly) Soles of Globe, Ariz.; and daughter, Salina Laluk of Pinetop, Ariz.; Edna was also loved by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bisbee. A time of visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the services.
Interment will follow at the McNeal Cemetery, next to her husband.
Arrangements are by the Hatfield Funeral Home.
