Irvin Clayton Baker, M.D., 76, was born in New Albany, MS on December 6, 1937, the son of Irvin and Beatrice Clayton Baker. He died, Friday, November 28, 2014, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown. Dr. Baker was retired from Frasier Family Counseling Center, where he specialized in mental health. He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and U.T. Medical School in Memphis. Clayton is survived by his brother, Francis Baker of Pontotoc, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Clara Doris Poe of New Albany, MS, and his brother, Billy Baker of Memphis. A private burial will be in Glenfield Memorial Park, New Albany, MS. Glenfield Funeral Home is assisting the family. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
