Daughter of George & Edith (Hunt) Perrin.
She lived in the Pisgah and Moorhead, Iowa area during her younger years before moving to Rosalie, Nebraska 1927. She graduated from Rosalie High School in 1929. Mildred worked as a telephone operator until her marriage to Charles Lester Buck on August 11, 1931 in Pender, Nebraska. Besides being a mother and homemaker she worked at the following places; Younkers Department Store, Three Sisters Store, Fantelles, J.C. Penneys, Sears Roebuck, Montgomery Wards, Sioux City Battery Co. and Johnson Biscuit Co. all in Sioux City, Iowa. She also managed a Roe Dairy Store in South Sioux City until she moved to Columbus with her husband in October of 1971. The couple lived at the Heritage House until her husbands death in October of 1976. She continued to live there until she moved into the Columbus Manor in November of 1996. Mildred was a member of the Community of Christ Church being baptized and confirmed at the age of 8 years old.
