HART (Special) - Services for Everett Cole, 89, of Hart will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Church of Christ with Jim Hardwick and Daryl Clevenger officiating.

Burial will be in Hart Cemetery under direction of Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Cole died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, in Hart.

He was born Dec. 20, 1908, in Childress. He married Bernice "Bea" Henderson on Nov. 3, 1945, in Plainview. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He worked on the school safety patrol for Hart Independent School District until retiring.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gene Davis of Conner, Mont., Curtis Davis of Spearman and Gary Cole of Plainview; three daughters, Ann Pevehouse of Hart, Linda Baker of Baton Rouge, La., and Carolyn Harman of Dimmitt; two brothers, W.H. and Shelby, both of Seminole; four sisters, Annie Mabry of Midland, Maudie Thornton of Andrews, Naomi Warren of Anchor Point and Redah Marley of Commerce; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials to Hart Cemetery Association, Box 174, Hart 79043, or to the Hart Volunteer Fire Department, Box 329, Hart 79043.
