Funeral services were held June 3, 1997, for Armeda Merkley Bergener of Vacaville, Calif.
Armeda was born February 26, 1923, the daughter of Golden and Macel Swensen. She attended school in Tridell, Maeser and Vernal.
She married Max Bergener of Salt Lake City. She is survived by her husband and six children, Donald, Randall, Raye Ann, Jackie, Carolyn and Eilene; four sisters, Lucile Terry of Vernal, Norma Goodrich of Colorado, Marynell Snow of Jensen, Nile Luchies of Depp Creek; and one brother, Kenneth of Lakewood, Calif.
Armeda and family enjoyed coming back to Vernal to visit with family, friends and those she worked for. She especially enjoyed attending her cousins reunion.
She will be greatly missed.
