George Clark died Tuesday, November 25, 2014. He retired from the U. S. Navy after 23 years, and later retired from the City of Norfolk. George was a member of the Charles T. Morton Masonic Lodge No. 232; was Coroneted Scottish Rite 33rd Degree IGH in 1999; was Past Wise Master of Rose Croix in the Scottish Rite Valley of Norfolk; was Past Patron of Colonial Chapter No. 40, Order of the Eastern Star; and was Grand Representative of Indiana and Tennessee in Virginia, OES. George is survived by his wife, Joyce Rollins Clark; sister, Wilda Clark Slaven; half-sister, Dorothy Young Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 30, 2:00-4:00 PM, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson. Other times the family will be at the home in Poquoson. Interment will be private on Monday at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scottish Rite Childhood Learning Center, 7001 Granby St., Norfolk, VA, 23505, or Trinity United Methodist Church, 1294 Poquoson Ave., Poquoson, VA, 23662.
