Mary was the daughter of W.F. & Margaret (Stanford) Beaman.

She was living in Sedalia with her daughter, Madie Richards, when she died at 2:30 p.m. on March 24, 1931, from a Cerebral Hemorrhage. She had lived 66 years, 9 months, & 20 days. Her daughter, Madie, shown as Mrs. R.L. Richards was the informant on her death certificate.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary J. Greer, wife of B.F. Greer who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.L. Richards, 318 East Boonville street, about 2 o'clock Tuesday will be held at the Ionia church in Ionia, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. Gardner, pastor, will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Richard Thomas, Grant Thomas, David Gibson, Leonard Fall, Ernest Thompson and Lawrence Lee. Burial will be in the Ionia cemetery.

Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband and three sons, Robert Greer, Lewis Station, Roy Greer, Beaman and L.V. Greer of Pilot Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Maude and Mrs. Mary carter of Kansas City, Kas. Four sons by a previous marriage who also survive are Homer and Albert Howe, of Ionia; Lacey and Otis Howe of Sedalia as does four grandchildren.

The body is at the Gillespie Funeral Home awaiting the funeral hour."
