Beatrice L. Cummins, 85, of Gardners, PA, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 in the Carlisle Hospital. She was born January 18, 1929 in McKeesport, PA to the late John W. Barncord and Mildred Shepler.

She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Orrstown, PA and retired from the Choice Hotels as a desk clerk. Beatrice enjoyed shopping and loved to bake for her family.

Beatrice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Albert G. Cummins; two daughters, Claudia Gault of Tampa, FL and Dianna Sue (Thomas) Solodky Roush of Rochester, PA; and a son, Sheldon A. Cummins of New Mexico. Also surviving are five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her brother, James (Shirley) Barncord; and a sister, Donna Smith, both of Pittsburgh.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Pleasant Hall Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 3544 North Progress Ave., Suite 201, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
