Jack Monroe Brantley, age 75, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 after an extended illness.

Jack was born in Uvalda, Georgia to the late Zollie and Alma Simpson Brantley. He worked in Macon for Inland Container and Southern Warehouse as a forklift operator. Jack was a loving father and husband who enjoyed watching NASCAR, going to Smiley’s Flea Market every weekend with his best friend Charles, and going to McDonalds every Wednesday to meet his buddies in the coffee club.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda Wise and 3 brothers; Leon Brantley, Leland Frank Brantley, and Billy Brantley.

He is survived by his devoted wife Debbie Brantley of Macon, 2 sons; Jerry (Linda) Brantley of Graysville,TN and Mike (Pam) Brantley of Byron, 2 daughters; Stephanie (Chris) Wilson of Beaufort, SC and Marisa (Regis) Lesueur of Rincon, 2 brothers; Jimmy (Dot) Brantley and Ronnie Brantley both of Uvalda, 2 sisters; Peggy (Gary) Martin of Uvalda and Louise (Larry) Boatwright of Hazelhurst as well as 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday at Crest Lawn and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Uvalda Church of God with burial to follow in New Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery in Uvalda. His brother-in-law, Pastor Gary Martin, will officiate.

Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of funeral and burial arrangements.
