"The death of Mrs. Philip Kiley occurred Monday at her home on Elm street in Cooperstown. Born in the town of Springfield, daughter of James and Catherine (Doyle) O'Neil, she was married to Philip Kiley at St. Mary's church in Cooperstown. She was a resident of the village all her life, and was a member of St. Mary's parish. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Adelia M. Kiley of Utica, Miss Catherine E. Kiley at home and Mrs. Charles Lashomb of Sandy Creek; a son, Leo L. Kiley of Laurelton, L. I., and eleven grandchildren. Sympathy will be extended to the family. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock, the Rev. Fr. Patrick J. Whelan officiating. Burial was in the new St. Mary's cemetery."
