Lucy Haarl of Atlanta, died April 22, 2007. She was a loving, giving mother and grandmother, and former owner of Meineke Car Center in Marietta. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dunwoody where she was involved in mission work. She especially loved children and teaching at The Goddard School.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne Janet and Brian Skene, Woodstock; daughter, Melissa Haarl, Atlanta; granddaughter, Madeline Noel Skene, sisters, Liria Pisco and Angela Arbelaez, both of Florida, Maria Miller, New York, brothers, Hector Arango, Carlos Arango and Leo Arango, all of New York, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 11AM at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dunwoody with Pastor Dennis Lacy officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 2200 Century Parkway, Suite 950 Atlanta, GA 30345. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-9PM at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors, 136 Mt. Vernon Highway. Published in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Apr. 24, 2007
