Services or Bobby Wayne Christy, 41, of Hayti, who died July 28th in the hospital at Hayti, were held July 31st at 2 p.m. in the Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Bernal Wells officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 5th, 1936 in Dardenelle, Ark., the son of Roy and Ora Christy. He married Venith Conway March 12th, 1960 in Caruthersville.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Arron Joe Wayne Christy of Hayti; three daughters, Debbie, Sherri Dee, and Dana Christy, all of Hayti; his parents of Hayti; five brothers, R.L. Christy of DeRidder, La., Lawrence Christy of Belvidere, Ill., Kenneth Christy of Kennett, and Royce Christy of Caruthersville; and two sisters, Lena Christy of Fayetteville, N.C., and Wanda June White of Memphis, Tenn.
