ODESSA-- Services for Robert Brinlee, 73, of Odessa will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Brinlee died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Collin County.

Mr. Brinlee was a roughneck in the oilfield. He served in the Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He received the World War II Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon and three bronze service stars and the Army of Occupation Ribbon (Germany). He was a Baptist.

Funeral arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
