John L. Combs, 47, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Phoenix , AZ. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Wednesday and services 2 pm Friday, November 28, 2014 both at Headley Funeral Chapel. John was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 9, 1967, to Rosemary (Hein) Combs, of Wichita and the late Jerry Combs. John was a Heating and Air Tech for many years with his most recent employment at Comfort Systems. He enjoyed Nascar races, watching sports and dirt track racing. On September 30, 1987 he married Karen Lynn (Rockey) Combs in Wichita who survives him; He is also survived by sons, Brent Combs of Wichita, KC (Amanda) Combs of Leon, Kyle Combs of Augusta, and Michael Combs of Wichita; brother, Mike Combs of Marion; sisters, Susan Krier, Sarah Hill and Mary Guldner all of Wichita; grandchildren, Zackariah, Manny, Kenneth, Blake, Emery and Grace. John was preceded in death by his sister Dee Ann Lacy. Memorials can be made to Kansas Humane Society
