Sim T. Batchelor, 79, died Friday in a local hospital. Arrangements will be announced by Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville.
Mr. Batchelor was a native of Putnam County, and had lived in Milledgeville for several years. He was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Yarborough Batchelor of Milledgeville; a daughter, Mrs. Polly Johnson of Milledgeville; three sons, Buster Batchelor, Irvin Garland Batchelor, both of Milledgeville, Bill Batchelor of Devereux; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Johnson, Mrs. Susie Robinson, both of Milledgeville.
