Two people who died in a fiery crash early Tuesday morning on Fort Wayne's northwest side have been identified.
Elvis Ibisevic, 31, of Fort Wayne, the driver, and Akif Avdibasic, 40, of Fort Wayne, a passenger who was ejected from the vehicle, both died at the scene of the single vehicle crash on Butler Road west of Butler Court.
When police arrived the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling northeast as it left the road and struck a tree.
Both died from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. Their deaths have been ruled accidental.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the FACT team, and the Allen County Coroner's Office. Their deaths are the sixth and seventh traffic fatalities in Allen County in 2014.

On Tuesday May 27,2014 at approximately 3:30 AM, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the intersection of Butler Road and Butler Court in reference to a personal injury accident. As officers and first responders arrived on the scene, they located a vehicle off the roadway fully engulfed in flames. Fire personnel quickly extinguished the fire. Investigators located one victim lying on the ground outside of the vehicle and located another victim inside the vehicle. Both victims were deceased at the scene.
Investigators believe that the vehicle was traveling in a northeast direction as the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. It is believed that speed may possibly be a factor in the crash. It is unclear at this time if alcohol was a factor in the crash. The names of the victims will be released by the Allen County Coroners Office.
