Funeral services for Dolores Le Doux, 82, of Onalaska, Texas, were in the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas.

Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas.

Mrs. Le Doux was born January 13, 1932 in Slocum, Texas to parents, M. Lee Alford and Oma (Vickery) Alford, and passed away November 10, 2014 in Livingston, Texas.

During her life, she was a Lioness of the Onalaska Lions Club and an avid card player. She loved to quilt and fish and was very active in her church as a church greeter. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Chris Jordan; sister, Patsy Alford and brothers, Harold Alford and Maurice Alford.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Vernon Le Doux of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Allen Denton of Houston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Brown of Houston, Texas; daughters, Verna Foreman of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Marilyn Landry and husband Allen of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Arlene Jordan and husband John of Sulpher, Louisiana, Gail Herbert and husband Richard of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Lori Wright and husband Fred of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Meadows and LeeRoy, Benita Michell, and Peggy Myer; numerous nieces and nephews who called her “Aunt Doie”; along with other relatives and friends.
