MRS. PEARL ALICE VERRIPS

COLUMBUS JUNCTION
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Alice Verrips, 88, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Pella.
Mrs. Verrips, Colonial Manor Care center, Columbus Junction, died Friday morning at mercy Hospital, Iowa City.
She was born Nov. 19, 1886 at Ottumwa, the daughter of John e. and Rosanna Fogelsong.
She married William Marr in 1903. After his death she married Elias Verrips in 1909.
He died in 1949.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Charles 9Helen) Fogelsong of Des Moines, Mrs. Julius (Hazel) Peterson of Olympia, Wash., Mrs. Lyle (Rose) Foust of Ankeny, and Mary Knapp of Columbus Junction; 21 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles.
In addition to both her husbands, she was preceded in death by eight children and two sisters.
