Funeral Rites Held
In Lovilia Today

Mrs. Lucy Johnson, 76, died Saturday at Smith hospital in Albia. She had been a patient there since Wednesday. She had been making her home in Albia for several weeks.

Born May 28, 1879, she was the daughter of John and Rose Fogelson of Ottumwa. Her husband, John Johnson, died in 1924. She had made her home in Lovilia for the past 30 years.

Surviving are two sons, Ernest and Emmett Johnson, both of Lovilia, and seven daughters, Mrs. Evangeline Wright and Mrs. Edith Allison of Lovilia, Mrs. Nadine Mattix of University Park, Mrs. Louise Wood and Mrs. Nellie Moore of Des Moines, Mrs. Rosanna Davis of Altoona, and Mrs. Maude Bacus, address unknown; a brother, Charles Fogelson of Des Moines; a sister Mrs. Pearl Verrips of Columbus Junction; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 P.M., at the Zimmerman Chapel. The Rev. L.B. Foster, local E.U.B. Pastor, was in charge, assisted by Rev. Floyd Murfey of Albia. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
